"Taking AV Green" TM As the prevalence of green building practices increases, AvinED Technical Furnishings ( formally Hi-Tech Furnishings ) stands ready to provide your green building project with environmentally friendly Multi-media lecterns and podiums that are built with our same attention to detail and high-quality but most notably without the use of urea formaldehyde, which is used as a bonding agent in many particleboards. We have been doing green projects since 1998. Starting with the first LEED - NC Silver Certified project in the United States.

All of our PL series Multi-media lecterns and podiums can now be ordered and built utilizing green materials friendly to the environment and to the LEED requirements for possible credits.

The current green model products are built out of a variety of Environmentally Friendly Materials including but not limited to HAPs Solvent Free Catalyzed Lacquer finishes, Environ from Phenix Biocomposites, Skyblend Particleboards, Teragren Bamboo, and Greenguard Certified Plastic Laminates from Arborite, Formica, and Wilsonart.
