48″ Large Multimedia Podium

This large 48" wide multimedia podium is designed for larger lecture halls, large classrooms, training rooms and auditoriums. It is large enough to accommodate all your technology and AV equipment with plenty of room for the presenter’s materials on top.

This Multimedia Podium is the perfect choice for large classrooms where space is not at a premium and you need storage for a lot of technology and AV equipment. This 48" Podium offers a large work surface for holding notes, laptops, dual monitors, dual CPU towers or multiply tablets. Plus as with all of our podiums / lecterns, you can also add 18" side shelves at standard height or at a lower 34” ADA Compliant height for extra work surface.

Our standard 48” wide multimedia podiums come with a large flat plastic laminate worksurface with 2” wire pass through grommets in the front corners. We will include any AV equipment cut outs you need to accommodate your Crestron or Extron cable cubbies, microphone holes, monitor mounts ect.... A standard open keyboard pullout and small open storage shelf that is directly below the top surface. Behind the lower locking 270 full wrap around doors is two large interior cabinets that you can customize any way you want them, but the standard would be two sets of three adjustable shelves or two sets of 16RU fixed front and rear rack rail for your multimedia equipment. The interior can also be customized to house multiple CPU computer towers. Different key core locks are also an option. The base can be ordered with heavy duty locking casters for mobility or levelers for a more fixed permanent installation. A standard large locking and removable rear access panel makes your AV integration wiring simple. All of our units come standard with 3” side wire grommets, air/wire hole in the bottom and a 1” air gap at the bottom of the doors to aid in natural ventilation without the need for fans. Add on side shelves and document camera pullout drawers are also an option.
