Instructor Podium Desk Combination

This instructor podium desk combination is designed for the instructor or presenter that needs the height of a podium and the versatility of a desk. These units are highly customizable and come in a wide variety of laminate finishes to compliment your classroom, boardroom or training facility. These podium desks are also ADA compliant. The standard features, built-in wire chases and wire holes make AV integration easy.

These podium desks ship fully assembled and ready to wire or you can ask to have them shipped in two pieces if your building has tight hallways or doors with easy field assembly using just four screw bolts.

The instructor’s podium can be ordered on the left or right side of the desk depending on the room layout. The podium comes standard with a 270 degree wrap around door on heavy duty hinges,  three adjustable and removable shelves or you can order fixed 16RU front and rear rack rail. If you prefer to use your own metal rack insert, no problem order an open interior. The podium comes standard with a small keyboard pullout or an extra deep pullout for your laptop computer or just order it with an open storage shelf for your paperwork. The podium top comes with two 2” wire grommets and cable cubby or other cut in equipment holes are included upon request. A locking rear access panel gives easy access to the rear of the AV equipment for wiring. Wire access holes to the desk are standard along with side wire holes and a bottom hole for wires and air intake.

The presenter’s desk can be right or left of the podium. The desk top is standard plastic laminate with 3mm PVC edges and has two 2” wire grommets, other holes upon request at no charge. The ADA Compliant knee space has another keyboard pullout and rear wire chase. The CPU Tower computer cabinet comes with a locking wrap around door, two adjustable removable shelves if you do not have a CPU tower computer. Above the shelves is a small storage drawer for remote controls. Locking rear access panel is standard.

The standard black laminate base can be ordered with heavy duty locking casters or levelers for a fixed location. The casters make this large podium desk easy to move around. Included on the caster base are two large levelers that can be lowered to hold the unit in place when mobility is not required.
